The Works of Rev. J.A.S. Castlehow, Vicar 1925-1965

On January 24th 1925 the South Molton Gazette reported the arrival of the new Vicar of Witheridge, Rev J A S Castlehow. "Jas" as he soon became known to the village was, over the next forty years, to take a great and scholarly interest in the history of Witheridge, and he left us 70 foolscap pages of his research to prove it. The contents of Appendix 1 set out his works as he left them to us.
